What does a fearless female look like to you?
A fearless woman is someone who takes on the world with an iron fist. She doesn’t let people see her weakness and she is confident in everything she does. She’s an empowered woman who empowers other women,
Why do you think it's important to see more women in leadership positions?
I think that women are put down because the world is not ready for them to be in leadership. However it is important that more women are in leadership, so we can bridge the gap between the two genders and finally see equality. Without equality, the world will continue to suffer.
Why is it important to encourage girls to pursue fields stereotypically dominated by men?
Male dominated fields such as STEM and government fields need to have more women in them because women offer a different sort of view. This would also bring about equality in the world, which could make us live in harmony.
How does being a fearless female benefit you and bring you closer to your goals?
Being a fearless female brings you closer to your goals because you are not acting on your and other people’s doubts. You are showing the world how you can be a truly kickass human being and living life to the fullest.
What advice would you give to young girls about being a fearless female or women struggling to recognize their power?
I think that it’s important that young women learn that the world is going to judge you with everything that you do. You just have to get to a point where you can listen to those critiques but also not really care about how they’re trying to tear you down.
What are your tips for being a fearless female?
Always dress to impress, never apologize for being you, and always go after your dreams.
What makes a feminist in your eyes?
Anyone who sees the gender gap, and helps to empower women to fill those gaps in society.
How do you work to make your feminism intersectional?
I am the co-director of YouGoGirl Oklahoma. We have actually reached out to our local society and accepted two male political writers! It’s great to see that these guys care and love YGG OK because it shows that the gender gap is being bridged in our generation.
How can women and girls support each other in today's world?
Empowered women should empower other women. This means giving unconditional love and support to each other.
